Water Relief

‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked,

“Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’.

Poverty Relief Team is committed to assisting millions of people worldwide who lack access to safe drinking water.  As a result, Poverty Relief Team has highlighted the need for Hand Pumps, Water Wells, and Solar Water Wells.  You can also help by donating to our monthly water tank initiative, which provides clean water to communities all around the world.

By donating to our Water Relief project, you help ensure that people have consistent access to clean, safe water. Allowing households to cook, drink, wash, prepare wudhu, water crops, and care for animals with this pure water.

(Please keep in mind that this is a personal feedback project. Construction of a water project might take up to 3 months. Only after completion will full media feedback be available.)

One name per plaque for small water projects, two names per plaque for community water wells.

"I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, my mother died, should I give Sadaqah (charity) on her behalf?' He replied, 'Yes.' I asked, 'Which charity is best?' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Water (i.e., to dig a well).' I dug a well and said, 'This is for my mother.' The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Some people are prevented from (doing good) and they do not do it.' "
